Final Roll Call

The Gloucestershire Regiment are synonymous with the Battle of Imjin River but were of course not the only ones there. Including many others, there were also nine men from REME. Sadly, only eight veterans who fought in Britain’s bloodiest post-WWII conflict are now left. This book has been produced which interviews these heroes, one of which is Ted Warwick, the last surviving member of REME who fought in the battle. He has an amazing story to tell including one of daring escape from Chinese/North Korean captivity. Included in the book are portraits painted by Jack Russell, ex England wicketkeeper and now a much respected military artist.
